Balrothery Bird Boxes

At a recent Tidy Village meeting Pat Hickey came up the idea to make a few bird boxes and to invite some children from the village to paint them.  Tidy Villages will position these throughout the village.

Pat has just sent us this photo from his workshop. Wow great work, Pat is a great supporter of Balrothery Tidy Village and has given much of his time and efforts to helping get the Village ready for the National Tidy Towns Competition. Pat and his family have taken on large areas under the Adopt-a-Patch Project too.

This Saturday morning, we will all be meeting at 11am at the Community Centre to spend 1-hour litter picking along the verges on the main rd.  We will also do a litter pick throughout the village. New volunteers always welcome.
